Christine is a case manager with a background as a Social Worker and Lecturer, experienced in working with both children and adults with disabilities.
She is also qualified as a Learning disability Nurse and has extensive knowledge of supporting people with a range of complex health and social care needs. Most recently she has worked within a multidisciplinary team of professionals from both nursing and education to support a caseload of children with complex needs with severe disabilities.
Working as a lecturer, Christine has provided education to disabled adults in a college environment. She has used her teaching skills to support parents of disabled children with a diverse range of challenges including the management of challenging behaviours, sleep problems, understanding ADHD, relationships, sexual health and personal care issues.
As well as working in the community and in education, Christine has experience of working in a range of settings including respite, treatment and assessment services for adults with learning disabilities and within mental health settings. Her work has involved the completion of comprehensive assessments, coordinating and reviewing services and providing outreach activities for children with complex care needs.
