Gemma has extensive experience and knowledge of working with clients with complex needs having worked as a Case Manager since 2015. She has experience of managing clients with a range of conditions, including brain injury survivors, amputees and clients with multiple and complex pathologies. Her experience of working in both statutory and private settings has given her a broad and specialist knowledge of available services, equipment, rehabilitation teams and planning. Prior to becoming a case manager Gemma qualified as a physiotherapist in 2000, specialising in neurology and community physiotherapy in 2003. She has worked in several NHS posts and also for private specialist brain injury rehabilitation providers in her previous roles. Gemma continues to practise as an independent physiotherapist outside of her case management role, providing assessment and treatment for clients with neurological conditions. Gemma has also undertaken medicolegal training and has experience as an expert witness. She also enjoys being a member of her local rowing club in her free time, where she gets involved in coastal rowing and competing in local Regattas. Request Gemma's CV
