Rebecca is a highly experienced case manager. Her caseload has included a wide range of catastrophic and complex injuries resulting in physical, social and psychological issues. She has a particular interest in amputee rehabilitation and this was the focus of her MSc in rehabilitation. She has experience and a keen interest in all aspects of amputee rehabilitation including sports as well as somatoform disorder, chronic pain presentations and multi-level trauma. She has extensive experience with statutory and privately funded equipment and prosthetics, with established professional relationships across the UK. In the early stages with clients Rebecca is able to build rapport and engender confidence where often fear and apprehension are evident. She expertly supports and guides her clients through their rehabilitation toward sustainable outcomes and work-readiness. Prior to starting her case management career in 2004, Rebecca trained and worked as a nurse in the NHS followed by nursing experience in social care and private settings.
