Megan has substantial experience working as a case manager with adult clients following life changing injuries. She uses her wealth of knowledge and skill in behaviour management, mental health and brain injury to good effect with her clients. Her listening skills and warm approach build confidence and trust and this is paired with her understanding of both the medico-legal framework many of her clients experience and her knowledge of statutory frameworks such as the Mental Health Act, the Mental Capacity Act and the Care Act.
Megan’s current role sees her working closely with whole family systems. She takes a positive and sensitive approach to working with challenging family dynamics to support progress for her clients. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, Megan provides assessments and reports, care plans, supervision, reviews progress and plans for future care and support. Her reports and care plans are thorough, detailed and accurate and have been extremely well-received by clients, deputies and personal injury litigation teams. Prior to her case management career, Megan worked within the health and social care sector for over 25 years in clinical and community roles. She has a professional background as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN). Her roles have included hospital-based clinical care, care and neurobehavioral rehabilitation for people with acquired brain injuries and other complex conditions, community-based research, social care service management, and tertiary education support & mentoring.
