Samantha trained and worked as an Occupational Therapist before she then became a case manager. She has worked with a wide variety of clients with neurological and other complex healthcare needs in both hospital and community settings, most recently as a specialist neurological occupational therapist within a rehabilitation environment.

Samantha gained community experience working as an acute stroke coordinator and in the community therapy team as rapid response OT.

She has also worked in a role supporting the admission and safe discharge of patients between hospital and the community. In these roles, Samantha was responsible for addressing clients’ holistic needs and rehabilitation goals in areas such as their care and support requirements, accommodation, equipment and access to the community, liaising with health and social care agencies to coordinate support.

​Samantha has experience of multidisciplinary working with a range of professionals and she has provided specialist clinical reports and to inform the rehabilitation process.
