Vicki is an experienced Case Manager, Health Entrepreneur and Clinical Specialist NeuroPhysiotherapist who led the formation of Social Return Case Management Ltd - a new and fresh approach to the case management of complex neurological conditions. As the managing Director of Social return Case Management, Vicki has overall responsibility for leadership and development of the service. Prior to this Vicki formed and led Neural Pathways, an interdisciplinary therapy team, specialising in the community rehabilitation of acquired neurological disabilities. In this capacity she maintained a clinical physiotherapy workload alongside case management of a small number of very complex cases. For over twenty years Vicki undertook a caseload of work as a physiotherapy expert witness in the brain and spinal injury field. Vicki has given evidence in court and undertaken expert witness training. Vicki qualified in physiotherapy in 1988 at King’s College, London and completed a Master of Science degree in neuro-rehabilitation in 1996 at Brunel University. Vicki worked through all specialities within physiotherapy followed by six years’ experience in a specialised military neuro-rehabilitation unit, treating adults with brain injury, spinal injury and often a combination of neurological and other problems. She gained further experience setting up, coordinating and working clinically within an NHS multidisciplinary community team treating neurological cases, facilitating an early stage move back into their own community with rehabilitation.
